Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

In a desolate desert in the southwest area of Bolivia is is 3,800 square mile sheet of salt. Essentially they're hexagonal crystals, which are made up by the crystalline nature of the salt. This unbelievable adventure is only achievable during the salt desert's wet season; it is transformed into a lake that is deep enough for a truck or boat to make their way across- being only 6 to 26 inches deep. This shallow lake flawlessly reflects the sky, causing an illusion of an infinite sky when looking both up and down. The sight is said to be especially amazing at night when the stars are out!

Pamukkale, Turkey

The natural wonders of the "Cottoncastle" in Pamukkale are truly a must-see sight. Huge stalactites, cascades, and mineral baths have formed along the the pure, white mountain side. These thermal hot springs have been bathed in since the time of the ancient Romans- used for their amazing therapeutic healing powers. 

For thousands of years a deep underground spring has been pouring out streams of hot, mineral-saturated water. As it has flowed down the mountainside, the steaming water has hollowed gigantic pool-like basins in the earth. The water's rich mineral content has coated the basins with a smooth layer of cotton-white rock.

The Grotta della Poesia

The Grotto of Poetry or The Grotta della Poesia, found in Roca Vecchia, Italy is a natural swimming hole that is separated from the sea by a rock bridge. Looking at the photos below, you can quickly observe the serene and beautiful swimming hole. 

Cannes, France

Cannes is known for its luxurious atmosphere and its variety of amazing festivals. While venturing the area you will find high fashion shopping is the norm. In addition to the famous brand shops, there are jewelry shops, tanning shops, perfume shops, beauty parlors, decoration stores, and art galleries that line the streets of Cannes. The city celebrates their love for fashion on the daily: street animations, multi-brand parades, and fashion show rooms with after parties are happening regularly in the streets. These high fashion shops and luxurious experiences attract many celebrities to the area! 

The weather in Cannes is pretty enjoyable as well. With August being the hottest month with an average temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit, and the coldest month being January with the average temperature being 42 degrees.

Floating in the Dead Sea

   The Dead Sea is an unbelievable wonder; the Earth's lowest elevation on land, actually more than 1,000 feet below sea level. People travel to Jordan in the middle east to effortlessly float in its waters- you actually float with out trying. It's nearly 10 times saltier than any other body of water on Earth giving natural buoyancy and rich  minerals to relax and rejuvenate not only you, but you're skin, too. The Dead Sea's ancient history is also a major attraction. Its life-span has been traced back to over 2,000 years ago, the days of Herod the Great. Beyond the Dead Sea, is an area with swimming pools and and changing rooms; a perfect spot for parties and events.

Margarita Island, Venezuela.

     Margarita is a Caribbean island of Venezuela, located at the Northeast of Caracas, the country's capital. The island is infamous for its amazing beaches. Not only are they amazing, but you can choose what type of beach you want to relax at; a beach that's crowded or isolated, with large or small waves, deep seas or shallow beaches, cold or warm water, and whether you prefer a breeze or not. After a long day of learning to surf here, soothing massages are offered on the beach. The exquisite structures of the churches and castles are an amazing sight if you value the culture. Margarita has a long and rich history connected to the sea. Fresh fish and seafood is a matter of course in all the restaurants along the coast. Lobster and oyster are specialities!


As you can tell, the carribean waters are beautifully clear and surrounded by lushious green  mountains and tall palm trees. It's truly a heavenly paradise.

Travel Bucket List Blogger

     As I was searching through bucket list blogs to inspire me, I finally found a blog that wasn't just a simple list. 'Down the Wrabbit Hole' is run by Marti Ingram. She says that she's "a teacher, a writer, a computer nerd, and a traveler (whenever possible). She has a never-ending to-do list, and one day hopes to accomplish it all!" What I found interesting about her blog is that she dividing her bucket list into catagories according to the destination. She also had a section reserved for "Personal Insights." I found this to be such a good idea- giving tips and travel inspiration to the readers is very attention catching, and considering the aspiration to travel, very hard not read them. This blogger also uses her blog as a type of advertisment for support so that she can achieve her traveling dreams.
